Guide To Managing Candidate Push Notifications
Learn how to activate and troubleshoot push notifications for new candidates.

Haven't been reviewing applications quickly enough to secure the best candidates? At Workclass, we are committed to efficiently matching you with the candidates you need within 24 hours. To help you access your applications more quickly, we have rolled out push notifications, alerting you to new, qualified candidates as and when they apply! Read on to learn how you can activate this on your browser, as well as how you can troubleshoot potential issues.
*Do note that this feature is only available on Chrome and Firefox.
Enabling Push Notifications On Your Workclass Account
1. Login to your Workclass account.
2. Go to "Settings."

3. Toggle the "Push Notifications" button to "On."

4. With push notifications enabled, click the "Test Push Notifications" button to trigger a test notification.

5. If no test notification appears, try toggling the "Push Notifications" button "Off" and "On" again. If it still doesn't work, please check that push notifications is enabled on your browser.

Chrome
For Mac Users
1. Click on the Apple Logo at the top left-hand corner and select "System Preferences."

2. Go to "Notifications."

3. Scroll to "Google Chrome" and set alert style as either "Banners" or "Alerts," depending on your preference. Make sure it is not set to "None," otherwise no push notifications will be received.

4. Open Chrome.
5. At the top right-hand corner, click on the 3 dots and select "Settings."

6. Go to "Privacy and security" and click on "Site settings."

7. Select "Notifications" (under Permissions)

8. Ensure that notifications for https://employers.workclass.co is set as "Allow."


For Windows Users
1. Click the "Start" button.

2. Go to "Settings."

3. Select "System."

4. Go to "Notifications & actions" and toggle the button for Google Chrome to "On."

5. Open Chrome.
6. At the top right-hand corner, click on the 3 dots and select "Settings."

7. Go to "Privacy and security" and click on "Site settings."

8. Select "Notifications" (under Permissions)

9. Ensure that notifications for https://employers.workclass.co is set as "Allow."


Firefox
For Mac Users
